The holiday season is officially underway in Sealy as the city counts down to the 39th Annual Fantasy of Lights Celebration. Decorations are going up, holiday music is playing, and families across the community are getting ready for a weekend filled with joy, fun, and the magic that makes December special.
This year’s theme, A Wishful Christmas, carries a particularly meaningful message. Three local children who are currently awaiting their wishes through the Make A Wish Foundation will serve as the Grand Marshals of the parade. Their courage and spirit capture the heart of the season and remind us why community matters.
From December 4 through December 6, Sealy will host its biggest holiday weekend of the year. With events for children, families, vendors, and visitors, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The Wishing Well and Wishing Trees
The heart of A Wishful Christmas shines bright inside the Levine Park Gazebo, which will be transformed into The Wishing Well. Ten beautifully decorated Wishing Trees will surround the gazebo throughout the weekend.
For only one dollar, visitors can purchase a wooden ornament and write a wish on it. Wishes can be for a friend, a family member, or the community. The ornaments will be hung on the trees inside the gazebo. Ornament purchases are available at Discover Sealy, Bliss on Main, and the Virgil and Josephine Memorial Library.
The Wishing Well and Wishing Trees are presented by the Rotary Club of Austin County.
Celebrate the Magic Together
Sealy is ready to welcome residents and visitors for a weekend filled with lights, music, family activities, and heartfelt holiday spirit. A Wishful Christmas highlights the strength, hope, and unity of the community, and this year promises to be one of the most meaningful celebrations yet.
